Watching Franchising inherently limits your operational freedom. Imagine if all franchise owners operated however they wished—there would be no brand uniformity. The franchisor maintains strict regulations, as the failure of a single operator could impact the entire system. This applies whether you’re buying a franchise in Puerto Rico, Florida or Hong Kong. If you value your independence and enjoy innovation, franchising may not be your ideal business model.
