Robert Alex Fleming is an attorney with over 35 years of experience advising and representing businesses in Puerto Rico. He is admitted to practice before the courts of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice in the State of New York and the State of Texas.
Mr. Fleming holds an LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Puerto Rico, an MBA from the Kelley School of Business of Indiana University, and a Certificate in Corporate and Commercial International Law from King’s College London. He earned his Juris Doctor from Interamerican University and an A.B. in International Relations from Georgetown University. He holds the International Mergers & Acquisitions Expert (IM&A) designation from the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA) and has been recognized in Best Lawyers® 2025 for Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions (Puerto Rico).
